http://venturebeat.com/2015/04/15/analyst-apple-watch-is-going-to-be-trouble-for-old-school-watch-makers/:
Our key insights include: (1) +11% of iPhone users “very likely” to purchase an Apple Watch this year, (2) regular watch wearers are among the most likely to order an Apple, (3) young consumers are substantially more likely to buy an Apple Watch than older consumers, and (4) those likely to buy a smart watch most often indicate Fossil, Seiko, Casio, Rolex, Timex, and TAG Heuer are the watch brands they wear today. If we think about all the devices that the iPhone has partially or completely replaced (cameras, alarm clocks, GPS devices, maps, mini flashlights, flip phones, mini calculators, and even watches), it’s not a stretch to think that the Apple Watch will do the same for another set of devices.
